It may be more complicated than the missed tx days.; they were also pushing fluids and other drugs through you during your time in the hospital.  How did all of this impact your tx, your immune system, etc?   Better to be proactive now than wish you had been later.

The tx drugs are only approved for a specific duration....in your case 24 months.  Relapsers have to go through the approval process again to retreat.   Sorry, Huey. cry

It doesn't seem like missing 3 days would be critical at 23 weeks in but have you asked your doc about maybe taking an extra week or so just as a little insurance?

 This can't happen without a vl test, if i vl test too early I might miss a relapse as they tend to hapen 3/4 weeks. That is why i just what, if i relapse the Pharmacy and insurance are still on the hook.

The thing to do is what till 4 weeks after I finish the last 10 days, then get the VL Test, but the blood sugar and atl's wile I was on iv those three days was spiking and turning down as my ATL drops and level's .That was the virus standing on it's feet for the first time,but the sugar then drops because my body was handling it, without the savaldi,,,thus a VR viral response, This indicates to me now not only was I ready to take it on without the drugs, Now I have just had a 10 day booster shot and defences are even stronger.

 That means I should hold off on final EOT test for a few weeks after I run out of the meds, If I am still und that means the hospital snafu didn't kill the tx. :) and if I relapse the insurance is still on the hook :) :)

This will be interesting,,, I am on week 22.8 had to stop both riba and savaldi for three days due to a complication wile getting my gull bladder out, and then right back on. for the remainder

 How do you do, I am a 3a as well, on the other end of tx, and up till now it has been a clean slate for me, EOT test comming soon/

Geno 1b, IL28B CT,  x3 prior relapser,  ex-cirrhotic, 75 yo, did 48 weeks with Victrelis/Peg./Riba.  VL 1.28m at start, UNDET. at 8 ,12 ,16 ,24 ,30  and 48 weeks.  EOT 15 Feb 2013 , UNDET. at EOT + 28 weeks. SVR!  Still Undet. at EOT +5 years

Hi Friends,

I just got encouraging news to share. My 1st 1 month (edit: after finishing 24 week) treatment results still show undetected.

I realize I am not "out of the woods" yet, (need more tests and time to pass) but I am grateful for the 1st bit of positive new to share.

During TX I had to drop the Riba down to 600mg for...a week or so due to a hospital incident. And the last few months I was at 1000mg riba vs 1200 due to low counts especially hemoglobin. Also ended up taking about 8 doses of procrit.

Through all of that, I never showed detected. I only mention this as encouragement to any of you who are struggling or having similar problems.
