I did sovaldi and ribavirin. EOT 6/4/14 and I just did my final labs today. I will have final verdict on 6/3/14. My doc did it a bit early cause he's going on vacation. A little over a week and I hope to be joining the SVR club. Looks like a lot of us. Looking forward to a great holiday gift. Good luck and positive energy for us all in this boat.

wow!!!! All these undetectable possible SVR's look good. I won't know about my SVR until Jan.7 and I started treatment July 2013!!! Doctor decided to skip the eot+4 and eot+12. I had a eot+7 and he said see me in 6 months, guess he's really confident. I hope so. Well good luck to all of us waiting for our SVR.

Lighthouse,

Congratulations for finishing treatment! That's great news! I don't know who would've told you that a cure could be determined two weeks after finishing treatment, it's not correct. They don't consider you "cured" or having achieved SVR (sustained viral response) until the 12th week following the end of treatment. In your case, that date is Feb 10, 2015. They should draw a viral load blood test on that day and make the determination then. We often have the VL test drawn at week EOT +4 and if it is still undetectable, the chance for success (SVR) is about 99% (good odds)! But EOT+12 is the day it becomes official! Good luck....
