Geno 1b, compensated cirrhotic, 54 yo, prior null responder. Pre tx VL approx 595,000, tx with Sovaldi/Olysio (no Riba) started 1/8/14. VL 40 @ 2 weeks, UND @ 4 weeks. Still UND @ EOT + 1 year.

Just got my results back and I am clear of the Hep C virus 14 weeks after EOT. Happy dance! This was the Abbvie Topaz trial. 9 pills a day, including ribaviran, for 12 weeks. I feel so lucky to have been given this opportunity to be treated and cured.

My very best wishes to all who are still fighting. The medical breakthroughs are coming fast and furious and someday someone will sort out this ridiculous insurance roadblock that is making companies and politicians filthy rich while preventing sick people from receiving the treatment they need to live.
