Hi Rufus1,

We're glad the forum got you through some scary times.  It's good to see people receiving tx before the disease has progressed to advanced fibrosis/cirrhosis.  I echo Jill that your chances of SVR are excellent. Your liver should recover and you will return to a completely normal life. Good luck and stay in touch!

Hi there, Rufus1, welcome to the forum!

I`m glad you decided to jump in and introduce yourself to us and thanks for your nice comments, much appreciated.  I`m pleased you`ve found this forum helpful while you`ve been on your journey towards being Hep C free.

Great to hear how well your treatment has gone, and congratulations on your 4 week post treatment viral load result, that`s fantastic!  And what a relief it must have been to you, we all know that feeling of anxiety while waiting for such an important result!

You`ve obviously responded very well to Harvoni, being UND from week 4, and I`d say your chances of SVR are excellent!

Do keep in touch and we`ll look forward to hearing more from you!  smile  ~ Jill

Hi, All I've been reading this forum for about six months and would like to thank all of you for your unknowing support and wisdom. I found out I had hep c in 2012 while looking for a treatment for psoriasis blood draws showed high liver enzymes and you know the rest. I was diagnosed with gt 1a, f1-f2 and viral load  at 1200000 so my treatments were limited. I found out about harvoni from this forum and started it Dec 8 for 12 weeks viral load was 991000 with no problem getting it from Aetna. My 4 week labs were undetectable then my EOT was undetectable. After a long nervous wait because dr. was out of town my EOT + 4 weeks was not detected yesterday wow what a wait. I just wanted to say thank you to everyone for your posts that help people like me get thru this. The administration here what a wealth of knowledge so thank you very much for your experience and SVR to all. Thanks A
