Hi william,

I`m glad you`re getting some medication to help with the stomach pain, sounds painful and I hope it clears up soon.

Your symptoms could well be related to your treatment, and you`re right that it takes about 6 months for ribavirin to completely leave your system.

Great that you`re still undetected, give it some more time and I`m sure you`ll see an improvement in your energy levels and general aches and pains.

Keep us updated, and good luck!

I don't know what might be the cause of your stomach problems, but I will share this. even before Tx I had terrible reflux problems. I carried huge bottles of TUMs everywhere for years. Then my Dr gave me RX antacids. When I read about them, I stopped taking them. Someone recommended Aloe juice. I tried it and I have no stomach problems at all. It used to feel like I was eating razor blades. The juice is not tasty but it tastes better when you realize how well it works. I now take a cap full maybe monthly. Just info that may or not be of use to you.
