Well halle-frickin-lujah!  I just got back from the doctor for my 1 year check up and to get the results of my EOT+1 year labs that I had drawn last Tuesday on the 1 year anniversary of my first post treatment "pill-free" day.

IT'S OFFICIAL KIDS - Another success story!   "SVR52"  "HCV NOT DETECTED" AT EOT + 1 YEAR. My doctor's exact words were "your labs are so normal they're boring". I"ll take that as a compliment doc!  Then I watched him go into the system and change my diagnosis from "Chronic Hepatitis C" to "Hepatitis C virus carrier state".  Woohoo - i might just get myself a big ole' steak for dinner to celebrate!

 

I want to thank you all again for all your support over the last year and some.  And for those of you still truckin' through treatment - just keep your head up!
