60 yo (2013), genotype 2b, started 28 week tx Sept.14, 2013. Triple Therapy (ribavirin, victrelis, peginterferon), VL 235k prior to tx, UND right through. EOT March 29, 2014. EOT24 Sept. 15, 2014 and EOT + ONE YEAR April 1, 2015 UND.... SVR!

HCV Gen 1a diagnosed 2001; Labs 11/13/14: VL 1.2 million IU/mL, ast 88, alt 111. Harvoni TX 12 weeks.  EOT - 2/18/15, VL UND & normal ast/alt.

4 wks after EOT, VL = UND; normal AST/ALT at 4, 8 and 14 weeks after EOT.  15 weeks after EOT = Undetectable!

Congrats Jaded! I'm so happy to hear your good news. This is the second time today I have heard we have the Dragon on the ropes! I know the feeling and joy when hearing that wonderful word, UNDETECTED. Time to celebrate this success and start planning that Hep C free future! Good luck!

I just woke up and have been blessed with an email my from my Dr's office...

 

Hep C Virus RNA (PCR/NAAT) No HCV RNA
detected.


Hep C Virus RNA (PCR/NAAT) Not calculated
The assay is
quantitatively accurate
between 15 and
100,000,000 IU/mL.

 

I am overwhelmed. Thank God. I finish week 6 of 24 tonight. I still have to finish and wait for EOT results...but I think I will be OK. My 60th birthday is a week from tomorrow...what a gift!!!!
