Hi again...I expect your next lab work will include your viral load test result, Kathy. 

That will give a good indication of how the treatment is going too.  In these early weeks there`s no need to be worried about lab results or blood levels.  Some people like to post all their results but really all that matters at this stage is that your treatment is working. 

And it obviously is!   smile

I guess my next lab work will be more telling??

Hi Kathy, excellent lab results, those numbers tell us all we need to know at this point!

Your liver enzymes levels, ALT and AST, have dropped down to within the normal range now, which clearly shows that the treatment is working well and that the inflammation in your liver has decreased nicely, which is what we like to see.

You should be very happy with these results! smile

Some one with more smarts might chime in here and let you know what to look for but I would say thats a good drop in alt & ast in two weeks.  Looks great to me.

My Dr. mailed my results...but not really sure what I need to be comparing. I know Ast & ALT.....

what else?

 

 

pre AST 73

2 wk AST 32

 

pre ALT 85

2 wk  20
