Congratulations on achieving SVR4, WOOT!! That's a real milestone because reaching EOT+4 undetected, shares almost identical rates of success for SVR12. This is good news!

You suffered the typical Interferon/Riba side effects. Then add the Sovaldi to the mix and you had that to navigate too. It'll take you some time to recover and clear all the drugs, the Sovaldi and Interferon clear relatively quickly, then the Ribavirin can take 6 months to finally leave you alone. Continue to take good care of yourself, keep hydrating and watch the diet. Of course, rest is very important when you need it. It'll take some time to get the anemia resolved. Everyone on Int/Riba has some anemia, shortness of breath, etc. So take it easy and just enjoy that Hep free future that's sure to come. Good luck and stay positive. You have no reason not to be thrilled with your progress!

Hi all I have just been tested after 4 weeks EOT and virus still undetected as it was not detected 4 weeks after starting tx I hope it remains undetected at 12 and 24 weeks. The tx was 12 weeks generic sovaldi, peg inter, riba, had some side effects during tx  insomnia, brain fog, short temper, ups and downs emotionally, but generally ok. I would like to thank this forum for the support and information I have obtained from here reading other peoples journey has enabled me to keep my eyes on the prize once again thank you very much
