sorry i duplicated question. i guess i didn't remember seeing answer or was hoping for a new magical answer!!

TazKat Genotype 1A null responder x 3 riba & iterferon twice, relapsed from Incivek 2012 with only 12 weeks left to do. stage 4 mild cirrhosis 4/25/2014/ started sovaldi riba & interferon.. finished treatment 7/17/14  results 7/25  cleared..

Hi Kathy,

You asked the same question on December 13 th. The answer is still the same. At the moment you would only be accepted for a Trial that did not include a protease inhibitor.

Geno 1b, IL28B CT,  x3 prior relapser,  ex-cirrhotic, 75 yo, did 48 weeks with Victrelis/Peg./Riba.  VL 1.28m at start, UNDET. at 8 ,12 ,16 ,24 ,30  and 48 weeks.  EOT 15 Feb 2013 , UNDET. at EOT + 28 weeks. SVR!  Still Undet. at EOT +5 years

i failed the incivek treatment. well i stayed undectected until 32 weeks in my treatment. my nurse prac told me i could never DO protease inhibitor ever again. genp type 1a here. i did a trial of a protease inhibitor in 2010 for 3 weeks but was dumped because of a small rash that had othing to do with meds. i was told while i was on incivek that i was responding to that one too. so is it mayne because i was only on  the other for 3 weeks that i got to do the incivek the full 12 weeks of that particular drug, then continue the interferon & riba? i had done the onterfereon & riba just by them selves in the past but was off of them within 3 months due to log drop not being enuf.. so is there something else being developed for ppls like me cuz i know i ain't the only one..  :)
