Thanks for the info.  The biggest difference I see now is that his heartburn is a lot less, which was his most significant problem during treatment.  He is overall feeling better, but it still has been less than 1 week since EOT.

Husband has HCV.  Viral load @ start of treatment was 1,600,000.  Genotype 2.

Treatment includes Ribavirin pills and Peginterferon injections for 24 weeks.

UND at 4 weeks, 12 weeks and EOT plus 1.5 weeks and 3 months.

Hi Carol, yes that`s right, it should be 24 weeks, or thereabouts, after all medications have stopped.  If there is still no virus detectable at that point then your husband will have achieved SVR, and will be considered cured.  The exact timing isn`t too important, as the majority of relapses occur in the first 12 weeks after the EOT.

Is this date determined six months from the day after one stops all medications?  My husband's last day of pills was Aug. 15, 2013.  So when will his 6 month test be?
