Sandy! congratulations! life is beautiful - i'm glad for you. i'm curious to see how your art will evolve now that the virus is gone. It looks as if it's already begun.

thank you too for being my lifesaver during tx and over the Thanksgiving holiday for me. i just regret not being able to connect - looking back i see i was still clearing the meds from my system. all better now for the most part...

love to you

Hi Sandy

I always enjoy hearing from you and as is usually the case, it's a message filled with hope and good news! I really appreciate the hard work you've done to reach this point in your life and recovery. I know it wasn't easy and remember well, some memories fonder than others, what we both went through to achieve our goal of SVR. You have every reason to be proud of yourself and will have you know that I'm always impressed with your desire to continue improving every aspect of your life. It gives me reason to remember why we went through this in the first place. Not only to improve our health, but your messages remind me that it's not just about our liver's well-being, it's about our overall well-being. It's important to concentrate on improving everything, mind, body and soul... Your posts continue to remind me of that! Be well my friend!

Sandy, what excellent news, congratulations on your 6 months SVR!!  biggrin

I`m so pleased for you, I know what a struggle it was for you at times during your treatment and this is very well deserved.  It`s great to hear how well your life is going now and your husband must be so proud of what you`ve achieved and how far you`ve come.  And actually so are we!

As you know, I do a bit of artwork myself and appreciate how gratifying it is when you start producing paintings good enough to be framed and I`m very happy to hear that you`re enjoying and continuing to explore your creativity.

Good to hear your iron overload is being addressed and with time your Hb levels should improve, the main thing is that you`ve done the hard work and you`re now Hep C free!

Thanks for the update and for all the support and encouragement you`ve given to others and I hope you keep in touch to let us know how things are going.

Wishing you all the best...enjoy your arty party!   Hugs, Jill

greetings all,

it's been a while since my last 3mo. und post. i am now a proud member of the 6 mo. svr club!!!!

this is my 2nd round of tx & hopefully last.

all my blood work came out normal w/ the exception of my ferretin levels, hgb is only 9.5, rbc is only 4.1, perfect ast & alt a mere 32. currently i'm getting phlebotomies every 3 weeks to straighten out the iron overload from thallamesemia minor. thankfully i'm straightening that out as well to prevent further liver damage. it dawned on me how fortunate i was to not have had severe liver damage w/ the thallamesemia. in about 3 months i should be 100%.

on a lighter note i'm still taking art classes & have framed 6 still life w/ oil & chalk pastel. i'm still eating healthy & working out as well. of course i'm always working on my inner strength & cyclical breathing. in addition my bf & i will be hosting an arty party to celebrate my success. travel is still difficult for my anemia & hgb needs some tweaking.

finally i'd like to thank this forum from the bottom of my heart for helping me through the rough incevick journey i went through. special thanks go out to jill, mallani, kelly and the insightful tig.

warriors, keep on slaying for it's your turn next!!!!!
