Congratulations on finishing treatment Mary!! I'm so happy to hear your upbeat and positive outlook for the future. I think it's very important to keep in touch and share your experiences and hopes for the future. It wasn't too long ago I was finishing tx with the new protease inhibitors and now the next generation drugs from Gilead, Abbvie and others is just around the corner. The future of HCV treatment looks very, very promising! Good luck...

Indeed Mary,

It looks like we're on the right track to leaving this virus behind for good. I'm so grateful for the opportunity to take this combo and for the recent advancements towards a cure. I can't wait to hear more good news from you in the nearing weeks.

You're so right about not wanting to miss anything that may help us all in the future. I'm glad everyone is sharing their varied experiences with these new meds because a lot of doctors know nothing about them.  Thanks for the kind words.

I'm planning on sticking around for a little longer.  No one is really posting a lot about post S/O . ...so I'd like to update,..I'm thinking as more of us finish well see more about life after these meds.  I know I'm 3 bridging 4. im thinking we will see more post treatments with liver care...and I don't want to miss any of that!!!  I will be SVR.....if I'm not, I'll be shocked, and even then. It'll be on to the next treatment,,,,,I know my team is with me regardless..

everywhere I turn......things are good....so on to the next adventure!!!

my hubby is a firefighter too......you guys are crazy.....you won't catch me anywhere near a fire!!!!  Scares the crap, out of me.  Thansk for your service.... I love a fireman.....the brotherhood is strong with you people.

This morning I took the last of the S/O.  Im tired and have mild stomach aches...but I'm so ready to get cleared and move on,,,,....I felt great during most of the treatments and I hope to feel that good again...

overall, it so easy...compared to interferon and ribo,,...walk In the park...

so now it's getting strong and continuing a wellness program.....and waiting.......
