Hiya Lawmatt

I was on the same treatment. You might have to do the 48 weeks instead of the shorter 24 weeks. I had to do the whole 48 weeks also. You will probably be undetect. on your 12 week test. Follow your Doc's instructions. I would put off a riba reduction as long as I could if you get anemic. I got anemia pretty bad and had to get weekly shots of procrit along with 3 or 4 transfusions along the way. Do what you have to do to make it to end of treatment. Last blood test I had was eot+7 weeks undetectable. That made it all worth it. Keep your head up and visit here often.

Best wishes.

Hi Matt,

Thanks for posting your results. Actually those results are very good considering your protocol. It's expected to see the reductions that you are presenting. While you are probably feeling some strong fatigue and weakness, it's predictable. The hemolytic anemia is directly associated to the Ribavirin. As bad as you might feel right now, you are showing the reaction to the Tx that we like to see. If you have the strength to do it, do a little happy dance!! You've earned the right to be pleased with these results! With the 4 week viral load of 30, you will likely be undetectable by week 12 when you're due to complete the INCIVEK. That's going to be a happy day eh?? Looks to me like you're doing well and all systems are reacting as expected. Hang in there and if you have any specific questions, let us know. Good luck...

Tig
