Dx. 2005-liver bx.: stg 2/gr 1. at that time  - GT 1a multiple transfusions in 1981.  Started Sovaldi and Olysio 1/16/14  (No prior treatments) Q80K present.  UND week 4,8 and at EOT.   UND at wk 4EOT, Und at wk 8EOT  SVR 12!!!..SVR 24 :-)

It`s so good to hear how good you`re feeling post tx, we all love to read about such inspirational success stories!  That`s pretty much how I felt after years of severe chronic fatigue before I completed my tx in 2011...that finally I`d got my life back...and you must be overjoyed!

It has been a long trip !!!  The years of alternatives and the wait for non-interferon treatment.

So glad you are joining me on the SVR list.  Did my first follow-up labs for Merck and a

scan for HCC last week.  Just got the call that all is fine. Next check in six months.  Glad you are feeling better!!

  HCV Genotype 3a , now Psot-Tx was on S/riba. First VL was 5.8 mil on 7-5-13 then "und" at 3.8 weeks. 06/13/14 still und. off meds 3 days back on 7/29 Last pill 08/10/14 SVR+4

I am totally thrilled and psyched. 

I have been set up for another VL in 12 weeks and then an annual VL after that.

The treatment was a walk in the park. I started to feel better within weeks and had my energy back after about a month. The difference was night and day!

I still get fatigued now and again (I have 45 years of virus damage to deal with), and I have the S/O muscle stiffness sides but I am not complaining!

I was slipping down the HCV slippery slope and was getting progressively worse. My AST and ALT were always in the 150 plus range for years and my VL was always around 8 million or higher for over a decade or more. 

Now that part of my life is gone and I feel in a way like Rip Van Winkle awakening into a new world.
