Amazingly good news for my husband and all cirrhotics!  My husband's fibroscan scan before treatment was 25.  Today, he went for another fibroscan and it was 11.2!!  I've read good news before about the reduction when you reach SVR, but I've not seen this much of a reduction in a short period of time.  He's SVR26.  There's much hope in the world of people with cirrhosis and I'm thrilled...

My paperwork for Harvoni starts January 5th and I was told to expect a battle because of my low fibrosis level, and I was asked about which pharmacy my plan uses.  I believe my plan is with Optum RX.  My Dr. was aware of Express Scripts removing Harvoni ...(I read that link someone posted yesterday in the forum).  Looks like someone can take my seat on the Harvoni train for now...I'm having a feeling its gonna be more waiting for me...But I'm happy to finally get the ball rolling.

My Dr. also mentioned AbbVie.  Now I'll have to read up on that because I've spent all my time researching Harvoni...I'll take either at this point since the fatigue is really debilitating for me at this point.  It's my worst symptom.

I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.  I have a lot to be thankful for!  :)
