Thank you everyone, for your kindness, encouragement and comforting support. This is the only online community of any type, that I have ever been active in. It is thanks to the amazing generosity displayed by nearly everyone here that I feel welcomed and free to care and be cared for. That's a rare goodness, and I am grateful to you all.

 

I'm sorry it took so long to reply but my computer was murdered (mea culpa) and a new one had to be ordered online and not so patiently waited for. Now that it's here, it's so cool I wish I would've killed the old one sooner!biggrin

Thank you.

The picture is of a 22° circular halo formed around the sun by refracted light through the ice crystals in cirrus clouds high enough in the atmosphere to be that cold. 

Looking directly at the sun when it's like this can burn your cornea and cause excruciating pain as well as permanent damage. I got the shot by putting my camera in autofocus and aiming in what I hoped was the correct direction and snapping. I was lucky and it only took a few shots.

Here was my today -

1. Today was my one month weigh in after completing my Whole30 challenge. I lost 9 lbs and fit back in my favorite jeans.

2. I was offered a job I really wanted.

3. I opened my email and there was one from my friend at the lab ( an unheard of week and a half early) and it said, UNDETECTED!!

 

This is the best day I've had in so many years and I am so grateful! I keep laughing out loud and then I tear up. I do feel as though I won the lottery.

Thank you to all of you who helped me make it through treatment. It would have been a much bleaker journey without your many kind words. 

Bless you all and if you are still fighting the dragon, keep fighting the good fight. Your time is coming.
