Hi Steve,

Welcome back mate. Good luck this time. Sovaldi should do the trick.

Fronting up for another shot of Peg/Riba is a bit of a bummer, but you can easily do 12 weeks.

Looking forward to your first Undetected. Cheers.

Steve, as you probably know, the svr on  sof-riba-peg is 86%  Thats good odds and type 3's are the hardest to cure.  I will look up a  site that has the best info on the trials leading to your r/x , and post it in this thread. It talks about how well people did on 12 weeks peg vs the longer treatments with peg.  I t really lays it out and is a encouraging read. RC

Oh yes, I`m still here...  they haven`t got rid of me yet!  biggrin

Great, I`m glad you`re getting Sofosbuvir, your chances of success are much higher this time round, and only 12 weeks too!

You know the score with Peg/riba, but a much shorter duration and a more powerful combo is really something to be excited about.

It`s been a while, but you`ll find this is still the same friendly and helpful place it`s always been, so take a seat and make yourself comfortable.

Very best of luck to you, Steve, keep in touch!

Hi,

I did 12 months of Interferon & Riba. Was undetectable after 1 month. But it came back.

Type 3A.

Bugger.

Cinnamon Girl! Still around eh?

I'm doing 12 weeks of Interferon/Riba with added sofosbuvir, gonna be fun.

biggrin

I`m so pleased to hear you`re about to start a new round of treatment at last.   I remember that you live in the UK, so which drugs will you be doing?

This is excellent news, welcome back!!  smile

Welcome back Steve. I'm glad you're doing better. Another prior miserable failure here too but I'm back in the fight now. We have much better ammunition at our disposal these days. I'm also curious to know more about your past Tx and what the new plan is for this final round? Nice bike! smile
